The solar witch derived their energy from the sun and warmth outside. Solar witches manifest desire, have high energy, and often heal from the suns energy. Solar eclipses bring change and transformation to these witches. Days like those (inducing summer solstice) often dictate this witches spell schedule. Solar witches may also practice shadow work to aid in conflict or healing. Admittedly, the candy cane twink is more entertaining than it is educational. Witches wearing stripes (specifically on stockings) may have been popularized by stereotypical caricature of witches, like the Witch of the East from the Wizard of Oz. It now appears on many "witch" Halloween costumes, possibly stemming as a warning of danger for its bright contrast and historic association with criminals and prostitutes.
